In all honesty, I’ve never really been a fan of spring. However, I do love the fact that it’s kind of a preparation; summer is just around the corner! With that in mind, I created a very lovely little place for myself, full of colours, plants and summer clothes. I have to say that this room decor made me feel as if it was summer already!

First up is this duvet cover set from Urban Outfitters. This might be avocado heaven. You can find it online on the US website and the UK website, pricing is size-dependent. It includes pillowcases, of course also covered in avocados!

I found this nightstand in a Dutch home goods store a little while ago, but I’m sure they sell this anywhere. I’m very much into the structure of it, it matches well with what I had in mind for this room. I don’t remember the exact price, but I think I spent around 45 dollars on it. The items on the nightstand will be featured in an upcoming post!

Essential for my spring room is obviously the plant. I’m really trying to keep it alive but I’ve almost failed multiple times now. The fairy lights are also quite cool. The plant + pot cost around 30 dollars.

Lastly, I tried to bring spring into the room with some bright-coloured clothes and some more fairy lights, because you can’t ever have enough of those. The colours I associate with spring/summer are mostly yellow, green and blue, as you can see. I got the simple clothes rack from IKEA for 10 dollars, along with some hangers for 5 dollars. The fairy lights are from Primark, they don’t have these exact ones anymore, but you can find some super cool firefly lights on their website.

As you can see, it doesn’t take much to create a lovely space that reminds you of sunny days, even though it might be storming outside. In a few days, I’ll be back with some of my new favourite hotspots!
