After a long, windy day at the beach, we took a seat at Beachclub Far Out, one of my new favourite hotspots by sea. And just as we sat down, the sun began to shine. As if anything could’ve described our experience at this beach club in a better way....

Walking into Far Out feels like walking on a beautiful island off the Spanish coast. With sand between your toes, wavy beach hair and a little tan, you enter the world of delicious food and design that reminds you of a country far away.

We sat outside, underneath the beautiful, covered part of the terrace. The wind shields protected us, but we still felt the breeze that kept us cool. I fell in love with the wood-reed combination, also noticing the little lights along the ceiling.

Time for an entree. The lovely staff brought us a ‘barra de pan’ with tapenade of olives and aioli. I chose a smoothie, which is definitely highly recommended. The one with strawberries and raspberries tastes fantastic.

While happily chatting about the day we had at the beach, we enjoyed the music in the background, that absolutely multiplied our summer vibes. It wasn’t a very busy day, yet the ambiance was still cosy and relaxed.

One thing I adored a lot about Far Out, were the endless seating options. Long wooden tables, chairs near the fireplace, toes in the sand, couches in and out of the sun.... I think most people will choose to sit outside, but the interior definitely beats the exterior. Again, so many different seating options, but also lots of plants, lovely tables and very cool chairs. It kind of gave me desert vibes!

The main course was even better than the entree. As a vegetarian, I opted for the Tagliatelle Caprese, which included mozzarella, pesto, cherry tomatoes and more. Nothing as delicious as some pasta after a long day. A reliable source told me that the penne with grilled chicken tasted wonderful, too. The food was served pretty quickly, so that’s a pro.

Beachclub Far Out has free WiFi, so you could share some of your food snaps and make everyone a little jealous.

After finishing our food, we chatted with the friendly staff for quite some time. Kids were playing in the background, the music started to slow down a little and the sun began to set. And then, it was time for dessert.

Honestly, I didn’t have a hard time picking my dessert. I looked at the menu and immediately knew. And I can tell you one thing, I didn’t regret it for a second. The cinnamon ice cream was wrapped up in marzipan. If there’s two sweet things that I love, it’s ice cream and marzipan.

While eating dessert, we moved over to one of the couches, a little bit closer to the beach. We watched the sun slowly set over the sea. The view was absolutely stunning.

Beachclub Far Out is located in Zandvoort, a seaside town along the Dutch coast. You’ll find it on the map below. The beach club is within easy reach of both the beach and the boulevard.

For the entire menu, some more pictures and opening hours, check Far Out’s website.

If you want to have a closer look, but don’t have a trip to the beach planned any time soon, you could follow Far Out on Instagram. So you won’t Miss Out. Ha.

Enough with the bad puns, you honestly don’t want to miss out on anything this beach club offers. It’s the right combination of festive and relaxed, of Zandvoort’s vibes and Ibiza’s feels. Because even though the food they serve is great, it’s the vibe that makes the place.
